Violinist with the London Symphony Orchestra, chamber music tutor Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, educationalist and workshop leader. As well as a busy symphonic career, Belinda was violinist with the fiorini piano trio for 15 years. Teaching and orchestral coaching for the London Symphony and the Australian World Orchestras, and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Belinda often returns to her homeland Australia as tutor, director, and workshop leader for the Australian Youth Orchestra. Belinda specialises in making music with the wider community. Training young musicians & coaching young professionals, as well as devising creative music making programmes for in-school and wider community participation, including special needs and babies. Having worked all over the world in this field, India, Australia, USA, China, Japan, Zimbabwe, UK and Europe for over 30 years I am happy to discuss my experiences, educational ideas and inspirations - how to make music making accessible to all.
